In  2000 Marlene was selected to join the Sales/Service staff of Malmark for the state of Washington.  Recently Malmark also chose Marlene to be Handbell/Choirchime Specialist and Ambassador for the Brand to the additional states of Alaska, Idaho and Montana.  In an effort to better serve this large geographical area, Wes, Marlene’s husband of 50 years, was added to the team of Malmark Consultants/Ambassadors for the Brand.

Marlene has been a leader in the field of handbells for 45+ years.  She has conducted National, Area, and State Festival Conferences.  She  enjoys leading “Hooked on Handbells Workshops” for individual choirs or groups of choirs.  Her choirs have toured extensively both nationally and internationally.  Marlene is a consummate music educator with a passion for “bells well rung.”

Having  grown up on a ranch in Northeastern Montana, Wes is the maintenance guru.  He has earned the title of “Handy-Andy.”

Together we will do our utmost to meet your needs.  This has become our mantra, because when I first started in handbells, I found no help at all until I met one of our handbell pioneers and an unforgettably kind mentor, Larry Fink.  He has left an awesome legacy!
